Tanya - Chief Executive
Master in Business Administration (Human Resource Management), Masters in Mental Health Practice, Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), GAICD
Tanya joined IMPACT in 1999, and worked in a range of management positions prior to being appointed as Chief Executive in 2011. Balancing a strong academic and practical background in business management and mental health has assisted Tanya to apply sound business principles to the governance and strategic vision of an organisation that delivers a diverse and innovative suite of programs and services to some of the most vulnerable within the community. Genuinely committed to community development and the sustainability and financial viability of not-for-profit organisations, Tanya is continually seeking opportunities to diversify, establish effective partnerships and improve the quality of services available to clients and their families. Currently a Director of Surf Life Saving Queensland and Shalom College, Tanya is also a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Psychological Society and Australian Human Resources Institute.
Steve - General Manager (Operations)
Diploma of Management
With over 20 years service at IMPACT, Steve contributes a significant understanding of community social services, training and employment sector services. His many years of involvement in direct service coordination and delivery, specialising in youth, employment and hospitality training sectors, and over 9 years in management roles, underpin his current role. Memberships are maintained in a range of mental health and youth committees.
Paea Ruka - General Manager Employment
Paea has worked in Employment Services for 17.5 years and worked for the 3 largest Employment Services providers for the duration. She has led and managed extensive and diverse portfolios including jobactive, DES, Allied Health, NEIS, Apprenticeships, Indigenous programs - VTEC, CDP, IEP and IAS, Centralised Business Systems and Support, and Work for the Dole. Experienced at leading large teams, her skills include delivering implement continuous improvement measures to support improved performance across the different metrics of the business.
Sue Conquest - General Manager Corporate Services
Sue has worked extensively in Finance and Information management over the past 30 years in varying industries including Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing and Agriculture. In the past 15 years Sue played a major role in the Management systems function to provide support to Finance, Human Resource and Operations function by providing technology, communication and workflows to maintain administrative effectiveness, provide reporting and Compliance monitoring functionality to ensure attainment of effective, accurate processes within legislative frameworks. Sue’s primary focus has been the analysis, design and implementation of ‘best practice’ processes and achieving these outcomes through development support and coaching of individuals to optimise their potential to meet the challenges of constantly changing work environments
Nathan - Manager
Honours Business & Language, Diploma of IT, Certificate of Management
Nathan brings more than 17 years experience managing language schools and an apprenticeship training company across Britain, Europe and America. Moving to Australia in 2011 and commencing with IMPACT, Nathan has held senior management roles in employment and commercial enterprise. He is currently responsible for IMPACT's business and relationship development and marketing.
Danny - Manager
Danny commenced in 2008 and has undertaken various roles with IMPACT. He specialises in community social services, particularly in the areas of mental health, disability, aged care and other social services. His capabilities are supported by extensive management experience in the construction and agriculture sectors. Danny is currently Manager of NEW iMAGE Laundry Services where he supervises its operations while also overseeing the expansion and transition from its current location to new premises in Bundaberg.
Bronwyn - Training and Compliance Manager
Diploma Business & Quality Auditing
Bronwyn has over 30 years experience working in employment services and associated sectors. For 5 years she managed Compliance activities for our organisation and since 2015, has managed the Training Services portfolio. This includes management of both State and Commonwealth funded contracts and the Registered Training Organisation. Bronwyn brings extensive experience and knowledge and loves to share that with staff and clients alike.
Tim - Manager
Tim's significant background in business ownership underpins his role of managing Bundaberg's Recycling & Collections centre, which supports workers with disability. As a father of a child with disability, he is passionate about supporting the economic participation of people with disability in their community. Commencing work with IMPACT in 2004, Tim manages product intake, separation and downstream marketing, and supports day-to-day management of the facility.
Kim - Manager
Kim is Business (Accounting) graduate of Queensland University of Technology. She is one of the founders of Bundaberg's original Rotary Lodge, a home away from home for out-of-town patients and relatives of patients; like a Ronald McDonald House. She brings over 20 years' experience in financial management, gained working with a gamut of businesses within not-for-profit, manufacturing, finance, small business advisory, government agencies and running her own successful business.
