Rob Sergiacomi (Chair)

I am a principal civil engineer with more than 30 years experience in project management, planning and design of a range of building, development and civil infrastructure projects.

I was previously a Director and shareholder of the engineering consultancy firm, Leddy Sergiacomi and Associates Pty Ltd, for almost 20 years and have contributed to the local Bundaberg community by involvement in local sporting clubs, school boards, Rotary and, most recently, as a Board member of Impact. I am married to Moira and have 5 children.

David Batt (Deputy Chair)

I am a third generation Bundaberg resident and married with two daughters.  I have been a Police Officer for 22 years rising to the rank of Sergeant and have a “Diploma in Policing” as well as an “Advanced Diploma in Investigative Practices”. I was the Manager of the Bundaberg PCYC for over 2 years where my passion for working for and with the community blossomed.

In 2008 I was elected as a Councillor for the newly formed Bundaberg Regional Council where my portfolio is Governance.  My other love is sport and recreation activities and am involved in many local community and sporting organisations on various boards and committees.

My idea of relaxing includes camping with my family and friends and socializing.

Gayle Job (Secretary)

Born in Bundaberg, I have been privileged to enjoy a rewarding and challenging career which has spanned over 33 years with Wide Bay Australia Ltd, a local building society. In this time, I have acquired many skills including staff training, product development, regulatory licencing and compliance, and documentation of operational policies and procedures.

My appointment as a director to the Board of IMPACT will allow me to broaden my community involvement and I look forward to making a worthwhile contribution to such a progressive and caring team.

Professor Helen Huntly (Director)

I am Dean of the School of Education at the Bundaberg campus of CQUniversity. I have been working at the university for 23 years, after a successful teaching career with Education Queensland. I am a Life Member and founding Board Member of the Bundaberg YMCA, and was a long-time committee member of the Bundaberg Family Day Care Scheme.

I am a passionate regional Queenslander who is interested in ensuring equal education and training opportunities for regional people. I am married to Glen and have two lovely daughters, Amy and Kelsie.

David Maclean (Director)

Born in Bundaberg, my career started at Bundaberg Sugar as an apprentice fitter and turner and after obtaining tertiary qualifications in engineering I progressed to project management roles in Australia and SE Asia and now at SunWater, a water industry government owned corporation.

Being my first community appointment as a director on the board of IMPACT, I look forward to learning and sharing my skills.

My wife Rebecca and our children, Chloe and Hamish, enjoy living in Bundaberg as it enables me to further my love of offshore fishing and family camping trips.

Bruce Moller (Director)

Born and raised in Bundaberg I have been heavily involved in our family businesses in the horticultural field all my life. Flower Box Florists, Flower Box Landscaping and Irrigation, Avocado Grove and Langbecker Nurseries.

We have changed our name to Lifestyle Solutions Centre where I am Service Manager and involved in pool plumbing and construction. We have a strong web presence and pride ourselves in keeping at the front of new technology to give our clients the very best they can get.

I have been a proud member of Bundaberg East Rotary Club for 12 years holding many positions on the board including President in the Centenary year. The club has rewarded my service by several high awards. Best achievement is being married to my wonderful wife Faylene for 34 years and still going strong.

Grant Hutchings (Treasurer)

I am an accountant by profession, being a Fellow member of CPA Australia.  I have worked for almost 30 years in the public accounting field specialising in small business and individual income tax.  I am currently studying for my Masters in Taxation.

I have lived in Bundaberg for more than 25 years and have had extensive community involvement with local sporting clubs, school boards and other not for profit organisations such as Lifeline, the Bundaberg Enterprise Centre and YMCA.
