Job Seekers:
In 2009/2010 2,450 job seekers were supported by JOB futures/IMPACT Make Your Mark’s Job Services Australia and Disability Employment Services.
Services are delivered throughout the Bundaberg region including Bundaberg, Childers, Gin Gin, Monto and Eidsvold.
Job Service Australia:
- Job Seekers - providing personalised support to all job seekers, helping them prepare for and participate in employment through access to training, work experience, community support services and targeted job search assistance
- Employers - Helping employers identify suitable candidates for vacancies and providing follow-up support as needed to support all placements.
Disability Employment Services:
- Job Seekers - delivers individualised assistance and on-the-job support to people with disability and those returning to work after injury or illness
- Employers – helping employers identify suitable candidates for vacancies and providing follow-up support as needed to support all placements
Services available:
- Disability Management Service supports people with disability, injury or recovering from illness who do not require long term support in the workplace.
- Employment Support Service supports people with disability who require long term support in the workplace to maintain on-going employment
Job Capacity Assessments
Providing a single, comprehensive assessment of a person’s capacity to work. The assessment involves identification of any barriers to employment and any assistance that may be required to help overcome those barriers.
