What is the Disability Management Service?

The Disability Management Service is a program which supports job seekers who have suffered injury, have health issues or have a disability which restricts their capacity to work to their full potential and require the assistance of a specialist Disability Employment Advisor to help them rehabilitate and to get back into the workforce as an independent and productive worker.

Clients supported by the Disability Management Service will not require long-term assistance or support in the workplace.

JOB futures/IMPACT Make Your Mark’s Disability Management Service provides a range of support to you as the employer, tailored to your requirements and the needs of the job seeker which may include

  • Pre-employment preparation and vocational training for the job seeker prior to work commencement
  • On-site support for the employer and in the initial stages of employment to ensure a smooth transition into work and to help identify any emerging areas of support that may be required such as further training
  • Access to workplace modifications, support services and Auslan interpreting at the work-site

Service Guarantee

JOB futures/IMPACT Make Your Mark staff will provide on-the-job support, work-site evaluations and assessments of progress and performance.

Should problems arise, our staff will assist in addressing these and will work towards a mutually agreeable resolution.

We ensure that our clients’ legal and human rights are upheld in line with the Disability Services Act through the implementation of the Disability Service Standards.
