At IMPACT we provide a blended approach to training by combining theory, hands-on practical activities plus a 120 hour vocational placement at a community aged care service. Our focus is to provide quality training so that you can enter the workplace with confidence and a nationally recognised qualification in aged care.
A Certificate III is the first level of post-school qualification shown to have significant impact on a person’s employment and earnings. It is also the level of qualification usually required to get a job in industries like the aged care sector.

What are the chances of gaining employment after the course?
This course includes Vocational Placement which is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills in the workplace. Many previous graduates have been successful in gaining employment and pursuing successfull careers in the community services industry.
Can I use a computer to help with my work?
Yes. Students have access to computers one day a week.
What do you do to help people who have difficulty understanding the course or have other problems affecting their completion of the course?
Our Individual Support trainer is available to assist one-on-one whenever you feel you are struggling, and IMPACT has a range of other in-house services to provide wrap-around support.
Do you have a canteen?
Yes. IMPACT has a canteen which usually operates 2-3 times per week when the Hospitality class is on-site. We also a free breakfast to all service users.
