Our values and principles when we work with and assist people with disability:
- Services are client focused - all clients with disability who seek assistance have access to a variety of services based on relative need and available resources.
- Respect for individuals - clients with disability have the opportunity to develop and maintain skills and to participate in activities that enable him or her to achieve valued roles in the community. The right to privacy, dignity and confidentiality in all aspects of life is recognised and respected.
- Maintenance of a caring and supportive environment - this is demonstrated by our commitment to upholding the legal and human rights of our clients and having mechanisms in place to create a safe environment for clients and workers.
Services Include:
- Day Services (Day service supporting 18-24 year olds with disability focusing on transition to independence, empowerment, opportunity, training and employment)
- Recycling and Collections (Managed in partnership with Bundaberg Regional Council, workers with disability are supported by IMPACT staff to operate the facility. They take pride in their contribution to minimising waste and supporting a cleaner environment)
- Post School Support Services (Providing support to young people over 18 years exiting education which helps them develop personal and life skills and participate into community life)
