Mental Health Services

IMPACT’s mental health services support both the person experiencing mental illness and their family members and carers supporting them.

Everyone’s experience of mental illness is unique.  The support provided focuses on each person’s individual strengths and needs to support their recovery.

Family (including children), carers and friends are helped through personalised support, after-school activities, community education and referral to local support services.

Our mental health services include:

  • Personal Helpers and Mentors  (Providing personal and mentored support for people experiencing mental illness to help link them more closely with their community and support their recovery)
  • Mental Health Carers Support  (Providing long term support to families, carers, young people and children living in households with mental illness through one-on-one assistance; education; information and community access; group and individual support for young people and children)
