About the role

As our People & Culture Officer, you will be providing human resources (HR) services to support: 

  • The employment lifecycle of our staff
  • Volunteers and work experience students

This role reports to our People and Culture Manager and on a day to day basis, you will be assisting with:

  • Internal and external recruitment
  • Onboarding and induction
  • Maintaining employee data 
  • Employment documentation
  • Payroll and remuneration
  • Training and compliance
  • Customer service 


  • A fortnightly Rostered Day Off (RDO)
  • Salary packaging up to $18,550 per year

About you 

To enjoy this hands-on role, you will have:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Human Resources/Business Administration or a related field   
  • A track record in processing HR/payroll related information with attention to detail and maintaining confidentiality 
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment and providing customer service to a range of customers with multiple deadlines  

To be successful, you will have great skills in:

  • Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Administration
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Prioritisation to meet tight timeframes, eg payroll processing  
  • Teamwork
