The leadership role 

Our Manager Disability leads a client focused and price competitive service to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients. The role is accountable for program sustainability, including:

  • Delivering and growing the NDIS service
  • Preparing and managing to annual plans and budgets
  • Developing and implementing new services 

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic and operational planning
  • Leading and coaching support workers
  • Developing and fostering a client centred culture
  • Compliance with funding, reporting and organisational requirements
  • Ensuring a high quality service and positive outcomes for clients and their families
  • Program outcomes including financial outcomes

What we are looking for: 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A track record in managing and leading a team to provide customer service
  • Working knowledge of the operation of the NDIS and an appreciation of the community and not-for profit sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in human services contract management, service design, development and delivery
  • Financial literacy, including understanding of business drivers and experience in budget monitoring and reporting
  • Working understanding of Person-Centred Practice in the delivery of support services
  • Proficiency in using a client information system and MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint 
  • Well-developed people management skills, capacity and experience in leading a team
