Look after the environment and go into draw for $50 voucher

IMPACT Community Services is encouraging Bundaberg residents to recycle their containers to go into the monthly draw to win a $50 gift voucher.

In these tough times, where you have to work hard to earn every dollar, why wouldn’t you do the right thing by the environment and pick up 10 cents for every container you drop at our Container Refund Point at 78 University Drive.

Not only do you get the 10 cents a container, but you also go into the monthly draw for a $50 voucher.

The first month starts from Sunday, November 1.  The draw will be made Monday, December 8.

There are a couple of different ways to enter.  Either fill in a form at the Container Refund Point when you’re dropping off your bottles, or put your name and number on an IMPACT shop-a-docket receipt when you make a purchase at IGA, Everfresh, Kmart, Target or Big W Bundaberg.  Then place you’re your entry in the entry box at IMPACT’s Container Refund point when you drop off your containers.

Entries are only open to those who drop containers at the refund point and only one entry per drop-off.

And we’ve made it hassle free for you to drop off your containers, so you don’t have worry about long waits.

Simply register online for a Containers for Change scheme account. This allows your refunds to be paid directly into your bank account.  Then drop off your containers in a secured bag with a tag, including your name, scheme ID and phone number at the CRS shed (beside the Material Recovery Facility on University Drive). Make sure you give your shop-a-docket to a staff member during your next visit.

Anyone* is eligible to win the monthly $50 gift voucher.

Entries can be made either by presenting your name and number on one of the IMPACT Recycling Hub shop-a-docket receipts available from IGA, Everfresh, Kmart, Target & Big W Bundaberg.  Drop off the receipt when you visit the Containers for Change at IMPACT’s Container Refund Point, 78 University Drive, Bundaberg.

Or customers at the refund point can fill out an entry form when they drop off their containers at the facility.

The prize will be drawn on the first Monday of each month with the winners to be notified by phone.

The results will be published on IMPACT’s Facebook page.

If the winner does not claim the prize the voucher will jackpot to the following month.
