At IMPACT Community Services, we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment through sustainable practices. Our Materials Recovery Facility, in partnership with Containers for Change, is at the forefront of the recycling revolution. Here, we provide a comprehensive and efficient recycling solution for beverage containers, promoting a cleaner and greener future for all.

What is Containers for Change?

Containers for Change is an innovative recycling initiative that aims to reduce litter and increase recycling rates across the nation. By offering cash incentives for returning eligible beverage containers, this program encourages individuals and communities to actively participate in recycling efforts. At our Materials Recovery Facility, we are proud to be an integral part of this essential program.

Our State-of-the-Art Materials Recovery Facility (MRF):

  1. Streamlined Collection Process: At our MRF, we have a streamlined and efficient collection process that makes recycling easy and accessible for everyone. We accept a wide range of eligible containers, including plastic bottles, aluminium cans, and glass containers.

  2. Cutting-Edge Sorting Technology: We leverage the latest sorting technology to quickly and accurately separate the collected materials based on their types and sizes. This advanced technology ensures that every eligible container is properly identified and processed for recycling.

  3. Environmentally Friendly Practices: We take sustainability seriously. Our facility adheres to the highest environmental standards, ensuring that all recycling processes are carried out responsibly, minimising waste and energy consumption.

How to Participate:

  1. Collect Eligible Containers: Start by collecting eligible beverage containers from your home, workplace, or community events. These containers include plastic bottles, aluminium cans, and glass containers marked with the "10c refund" label.

  2. Drop Off at Our Facility: Once you've collected a substantial amount of eligible containers, bring them to our conveniently located Materials Recovery Facility. Our friendly staff will guide you through the recycling process and ensure that you receive your well-deserved refund.

  3. Make an Impact: By participating in Containers for Change and recycling your eligible containers, you contribute to a cleaner environment, reduced litter, and a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Join us and be part of the recycling revolution. Together, we can make a significant impact on our environment and build a greener, healthier planet. For more information and the location of our facility, explore our website or get in touch with our team today.
